When it comes to spirituality, what is the problem that you
want to resolve? If we don’t make it complex it is you and I who are at the
center of the problem, or we are the problem itself. That is the reason the job
of a real guru is really tough one. The real one, is not interested in
comforting words, sweet explanations, not interested in your worship, your
money, your power. Their primary concern is to act like a mirror, in which we
can see our own ignorance, jealousy, fears, endless desires, lack of love and
compassion. Love and compassion are the essence of intelligence.
The problem is with us, the bitter pills of truth served by real guru won’t taste us good and we go to sweet pills offered by these phony people who call themselves guru’s and we are caught for the rest of our life.
The problem is with us, the bitter pills of truth served by real guru won’t taste us good and we go to sweet pills offered by these phony people who call themselves guru’s and we are caught for the rest of our life.
The real guru has to convey something which is beyond words,
what they said can be perceived only when there is honesty, seriousness in us.
This is another major problem between real and ourselves. They ask us to climb
the mountain, so that we can reach the peak and have a holistic view of life.
This holistic view can resolve our problems within no time. We desire that they
come down and take us on their backs, which is not possible. It’s not that they
don’t want to do that, but it is completely out of scope. The best they can do
is to act like a sign board, mirror rest we need to work out.
So I feel the whole problem is with us, a guru who offers
sweet explanations, and takes pleasure when people clap for his explanations how can such a person
bring about wisdom in you? He cannot, only he can offer is sweet explanations
for the rest of your life. So we must honestly observe what is the impact of a
book, guru, religion, leader when we get in touch with them? Are we really changing
from inside, or we are in an illusion that we are progressing. Our mind being
lazy takes certain pleasure in illusory progress, we must understand that this
inclination of our mind towards pleasure is the essence of dishonesty.
